Concert news for 2007/8 will be announced soon.
The 2006/7 event featured three superb Concerts, each of them very different, and each of them played in glorious venues.
The Festival’s opening concert was played at the American Cathedral in Paris on Friday, 29th of December at 7.30 pm. Music was provided by two of the finest groups of young musicians from the United States of America. The New Canaan Concert Band from Connecticut, and the Harker School Orchestra from California have enviable reputations for their splendid musicianship. The special programme of music that they have prepared for their opening Concert is not to be missed. The Concert will not be ticketed, but is certain to be popular so be sure to arrive early to secure the best seats.
At 7.30 pm on Saturday 30th December the Mairie of the 12th arrondissmont at 130 avenue Daumesnil, will host a fabulous Gala Concert which will once again feature the fine young musicians from New Canaan and Harker who, for this Concert, will be supplemented by highly acclaimed Concert band from Ramona High School in south California. The programme for the Gala Concert promises to be both exciting and exhilarating. The final Concert in the Festival Series was played by the Harker Orchestra in the Eglise de Notre Dame in Chantilly at 10.15 am. On Sunday, 31st December.
